Inject the sample into the reaction pool by a syringe pump, add in the acidic reagent, and then heat the mixed sample to 95°C to dissolve the suspended iron; secondly, inject the buffer, adjust to a proper pH value for reduction, and reduce the ferric iron to divalent; finally, the chromogenic agent, iron ions and the chromogenic agent are added to generate a purple complex, and then the absorbance of the complex is measured at the specified wavelength with a colorimeter to calculate the total iron content.

Characteristics:

1 Method basis: spectrophotometry.

2 Measuring range: 0.01~10.0mg/L.

3 Accuracy: ±10% or ±0.1mg/L (the larger of the two).

4 Repeatability: 10% or 0.1mg/L.

5 Measurement period: The minimum measurement period is 30 minutes.

6 Sampling cycle: time interval (10~9999min arbitrarily adjustable) and hourly measurement mode.

7 Calibration cycle: It can be calibrated manually immediately or set cycle for automatic calibration.
